چکیده:
The UNIFAC-NRF model which was proposed for aqueous two phase of polymer salt systems, used for correlation of partition coefficient of proteins. The protein molecules was divided into some patches and assumed these patches to have interaction with the other species in aqueous polymer-salt systems. The binary parameters of interaction which were obtained by correlating of the binary and ternary solutions, usedfor correlation of protein partitioning in aqueous two phase systems.The experimental data of lysozyme partitioning was studied in aqueous two phase systems of PEG-K2HPO4– water and PEG–Na2SO4–water for two different molecular weight of PEG at different pH. In comparison with experimental data, the results of UNIFAC-NRF model are in a very good agreement and this new model can correlate experimental data inliquidliquid equilibria very well.
